Registration
How much does registration cost?
- Solo entry: €90
- Two-person team: €160
- Three-person team: €210
- Four-person team: €240
- Additional event t-shirt: €20
What payment options are available?
Payment can be made via direct bank transfer or PayPal. Please complete your payment within 7 days to secure your registration. Unpaid registrations may be cancelled.
What is included in my registration?
Your registration includes:
- Entry to the race
- Access to facilities (showers, toilets, water, etc.)
- A camping spot next to the track (Saturday to Sunday night)
- A goodie bag with event and sponsor stickers
- The official event T-shirt
You can order an additional T-shirt for EUR20 during the registration process.
Can I cancel my registration and receive a refund?
Cancellations made on or before May 31, 2026, are eligible for a 50% refund. After May 31, 2026, no refunds will be issued. To cancel your registration, please contact the organization via email.
Can I transfer or sell my registration to another rider?
Yes, registrations can be transferred to another rider. Please email the organization with the new rider's details to arrange the transfer.
Travel
Where is the track located?
The track is located at:
Zijkanaal C Weg 6, 2064 KA Spaarndam, The Netherlands
Can I reach the track by public transport?
Reaching the track by public transport is difficult. We strongly recommend renting a car or arranging a ride with another participant.
The two closest bus stops are:
- Haarlemmerliede, Pont Buitenhuizen (2.5 km from the track)
- Spaarndam, Westhoff (1.7 km from the track)
We recommend planning your journey via www.9292.nl. Please note that bus services are limited during the weekend, and it may not be possible to arrive at the track on time on Saturday morning using public transport.
Accommodation
Can I camp at the track on Friday, 19 June?
Unfortunately, no. We only have a camping permit for Saturday night. Camping at the track on Friday is not allowed, and it is also not permitted to leave personal belongings at the track in advance.
Where can I stay before or after the event?

Can I hang a hammock at the track?
There are some trees available, but space for hammocks is limited. We recommend bringing a tent as a backup.
Facilities
Are there dressing rooms, showers, and toilets?
Yes. Participants may use the cycling club's dressing rooms. Water bottles can also be refilled there.
Are meals provided or available for purchase?
No. The organization does not provide food or drinks (except tap water), and there are no food vendors at the track. Participants must bring all food they will need.

Can I cook my own meal?
Yes, cooking with a standard camping stove is allowed. Open fires are strictly prohibited. Electric stoves, kettles, or other high-power electrical devices are not allowed.
Is electricity available to charge devices?
A limited number of power outlets are available in the dressing rooms. However, we strongly recommend charging devices in advance and bringing a power bank.
Race Day
What time does the track open on Saturday?
The track opens at 7:00 AM on Saturday.
Are electric or motorized boards allowed?
No. Motorized or electric skateboards and longboards are not permitted.
Are other wheeled devices allowed?
This year, we are introducing an inline/quad skate category with five race entries.
Currently allowed:
- Skateboards
- Longboards
- Snakeboards

Sponsors
I would like to sponsor the event, what do you offer?
We are always looking for sponsors. Sponsors are allowed to put up banners at the track and will be able to provide promotional materials that will be put in the goodie bags for each participant. They can also put their brand logo on the back of the official event t-shirt. For more details, please contact dutchdistanceskaters@gmail.com.
